Warning for Timeframe means you are approaching the maximum number of credit hours you are eligible to attempt before you lose your financial aid eligibility.
Each student may attempt a total of 1.5 times the minimum number of credit hours to complete their degree program. (For example, if your program requires 130 hours for completion (130 x 1.5 = 195), you may attempt up to 195 credit hours before being placed on suspension.
If you are suspended for exceeding your maximum timeframe, there is no appeal. You must pay for the remainder of your education at your own expense or utilize a private loan lender that does not consider SAP as a criterion.
If you are pursuing a second degree at the same level (e.g. second bachelors, masters or doctoral degree) and have been placed in this status, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.
